International School Bangkok presents:

TechTrain 2011: Beginners Learning Technology Tools Together

Heard these words floating around your school: blogs, wikis, podcasts, Web 2.0, Twitter, Ning, and a variety of other 21st century tech jargon? Wondering what on Earth they all mean and how they are relevant to your classroom today?

Wonder no more...We invite you to this EARCOS weekend workshop hosted at International School
techtrain11.jpgBangkokon the weekend of January 29 - 30, 2011, which will introduce you to a selection of educationally and developmentally appropriate technology tools that will help enhance learning in your classroom and beyond.

What makes this workshop unique is that it is designed specifically for those who are very new to technology, and all workshops will be structured so that everyone feels successful. Our goal is to provide individual attention, move at a beginner's pace, and have participants leave with something concrete they can implement in their teaching practice right away. Even if you’ve never used technology in your classroom before, this is the workshop for you!

Registration is now closed. Thanks so much for your interest!

To ensure we meet the needs of everyone, we will limit the workshop to 60 participants.

Cost: US$50/person for EARCOS members, US$150/person for non-EARCOS members
(Workshop fee includes transportation, and breakfast, lunch, and snacks both days)
